At Pennington C of E Primary School, we are committed to encouraging safe, healthy and environmentally friendly journeys to and from school.
We are proud to participate in the Modeshift STARS School Travel Plan programme, a nationally recognised accreditation scheme that supports schools in promoting active and sustainable travel.
Our aim is to reduce congestion around the school, improve air quality, increase physical activity and help pupils develop lifelong healthy travel habits.
At Pennington Church of England Primary School, we are committed to helping children, families and staff travel to and from school in ways that are safe, healthy and environmentally responsible.
We are working through the Modeshift STARS programme to promote active and sustainable travel and to reduce congestion around the school at the beginning and end of the school day.
By encouraging walking, scooting, cycling and other active forms of travel, we can improve children's health and wellbeing, reduce traffic and pollution, and help our pupils develop independence and road safety awareness.
